Hi, my name is Sean and I am a composer and musician from Orlando, Florida. My teaching style can best be described as curious and flexible. My teaching philosophies are rooted in music composition so that looking at any style of music becomes less intimidating and more approachable to learn. I primarily teach electric and classical guitar, but I also teach piano/keyboard and bass. Beginner - Intermediate - Advanced
Having studied guitar at the private level for 6 years and at the college level for 2, I have a large background of information on technique and style. My personal interests on guitar range from classical and folk, all the way to mathcore and black metal. Guitar can be an intimidating instrument but I know that with the right approach I can help you achieve progress.
Formal Education:
4 college semesters studying under Eladio Scharron, currently finishing up my final semester studying music composition.
Private Education:
6 years of classical and electric guitar lessons under Samuel Mills
Performing Experience:
performed professionally at the University of Central Florida both solo and in a classical guitar ensemble
Experience Teaching:
Since 2021 both in person and online.
