About Me

Hi, my name is Madison and I am a vocalist living in Garner, North Carolina. I have been a student of music for 12 years. My teaching style can best be described as laid-back and encouraging. I also have ADHD, which comes in handy for teaching students who may need a bit of an unconventional approach. In my lessons, you can expect to learn how to read sheet music, sing with classical technique, and apply that to other genres as well. My students love that I am young enough to relate with them and understand them, so I can put myself in their shoes and figure out exactly what they need in order to improve. I primarily teach middle and high school students, but I can also teach inexperienced adults and young children. My approach as a teacher is to build confidence and let students sing music that they love, while still sticking to the styles and difficulties that suit their abilities.
