Howdy, y'all! My name is Tonya and I'm from Starkville, Mississippi. I recently graduated from Mississippi State University and have been a student of music for 14+ years. My musical influences include Jessye Norman, Renee Flemming, and others! My teaching style can be described as fun and active. In my lessons, you can expect to learn character development, the psychological aspect of music, and stepping out of your comfort zone. I like to tell my students that there is no such thing as "can't". We CAN succeed and we WILL. One of my favorite performances was performing at Carnegie Hall three years ago!
