1 Years
Julianna began playing guitar at the age of 6 years old. Over the years, she developed her skills further by playing at open mics, finding mentors, and going on to audition for Berklee College of Music. She gained performance experience in the Boston area by playing at infamous venues. Though Julianna can teach many different genres of music, her musical personal favorites are contemporary music such as alternative, pop, and r&b which had a great influence on her style of playing. Julianna loves music because she grew up around it and loves teaching music because she gets to share her craft. Whether you are a beginner or a seasoned professional, Julianna can help you expand and enhance your playing. Julianna is excited to learn how she can help you reach your musical goals. Julianna B. is proficient in and teaches Guitar Lessons, Vocal Lessons .What to expect in my Guitar Lessons
I take a "learning by ear" approach to teaching guitar. In my sessions, we will ditch sheet music and instead focus on learning the basic chords you will need to play all of your favorite songs! By learning the chords first, you will be able to play nearly every song you hear on the radio within weeks.
What to expect in my Vocal Lessons
I will be teaching contemporary vocal lessons. While contemporary voice is my focus, I have been trained in both classical and contemporary vocal styles. With this being said, I use techniques and warm-ups from both styles to cultivate a healthy powerful voice in all of my students. We will focus on both songs that I will give you to strengthen particular areas of your voice, along with songs that you want to work on.
