About Me
I am a dedicated Music Technologist and vocal coach with a wealth of experience in music production, composition, and education. I hold an undergraduate degree in Music Technology and Composition, as well as a master's degree in Music Technology from Southern Utah University. During my college years, I actively participated in the marching band, jazz band, and founded and directed the university's Gospel choir at NMHU. I also served as the campus vocal coach for the college group "University Celebrity," where I taught vocal techniques and prepared individuals and groups for shows in the area and nearby cities. In addition to my academic accomplishments, I played a pivotal role in advancing the music technology program at New Mexico Highlands University through a work-study position. I had the honor of being the first graduate from this innovative program. Since graduating, I have produced numerous music projects across diverse genres, including Gospel, Southern Gospel, and R&B. My professional journey also includes teaching music in St. Louis public schools, where I gained hands-on experience in classroom teaching. Currently, I serve as a substitute teacher in my local school district. I also teach music production and songwriting classes at local community centers, aiming to inspire and educate local kids and the community. My fun and charismatic approach to teaching is designed to engage and motivate my students, helping them discover their potential and passion for music.
