I have been playing guitar since 1975. I performed in a variety of bands throughout the 80' and early 90's. I have studied theory for many years and have an innate love for music. My true love is modern jazz, but I have played reggae, blues, classic rock etc..
My musical influences are many, but the main names would be, Pat Metheny, Frank Gambale, Chic Corea, Morten Faerestrand, Al DiMeola, Mike Stern, Miles Davis, John Coltrane and many many more.
I like a hands on approach with a strong curriculum in chord theory and harmony. Student's that read music are not as important to me as the student who can understand the language and read tab.
Overall I love putting theory to practical use. The student that achieves this will go far. So let's start practicing together!
