Hello! I’m Mrs. Vickmary, and I’m thrilled to share my love for music with you! I was born and raised in the Dominican Republic, where music filled my heart from a very young age. When I came to the United States, I discovered Music Theory in middle school — and it completely transformed how I understood and experienced music. For more than nine years, I’ve had the joy of teaching students of all ages and helping them uncover talents they didn’t even realize they had. While performing will always be one of my greatest passions, my true calling lies in teaching — one student at a time! I’m also a proud wife and mom of two sweet little ones who inspire me every single day. My goal is to help you have fun while learning to love your musical journey one lesson at a time. Sound recording takes patience and practice but it is very rewarding when you hear the results. We can learn various tools, programs and techniques that can be used to create jingles, songs, voice-overs, among other great things.

What to expect in my Song Writing Lessons

Beginner - Intermediate - Advanced

I look forward to getting to know you as a student and learning about your specific goals, interests, as well as learning style. My goal is to help you have fun while learning to love your musical journey one lesson at a time. Songwriting is a work of heart and although there are suggestions, there are no strict rules about creating a masterpiece. Personal confidence, respect, and creativity are helpful tools that we can build.

My goal is to help you have fun while learning to love your musical journey one lesson at a time. The piano is one of my favorite instruments and I love that it provides so much room for creativity. In our lessons, you will learn how to read Music at your own pace. Just like all other instruments, practice is key, and the more you do it after the lessons, the more successful you will be.

Performing Experience:

Over the years, I’ve had the joy of performing in school ensembles, theater productions, State Thespian competitions, solo performances, church music ministries, and concerts with live bands throughout Florida. Each of these experiences has deepened my appreciation for the art of music and strengthened my desire to share it with others.
