Hello! My name is Victoria and I am a vocalist and a voice coach located in Washington DC. Originally I’m from Russia, I moved to the US a few years ago and I’m continuing my musical career here. I began singing when I was a kid and went to a school specializing in music. I sang in the choir for 10 years and received a lot of knowledge of academic classical voice, I studied music theory and played the piano. After that, I took acting classes and studied for a year. By the time I graduated, I was really into contemporary music including such genres as pop, rock, blues, and jazz. I participated in different competitions and was a lead singer in multiple bands. Then, having all that experience I decided to start teaching. Right now I’m a lead singer of the pop/rock cover band located in the DMV area and I teach my students different vocal techniques. I believe that every vocal coach is like doctor-we take care of your voice with your vocal cords and carefully develop it, keeping our eyes on every change. Recently I got my “Advanced Certificate in Anatomy of speech and voice” because I wanted to know how everything works from the inside. I also got my “Advanced certificate in modern vocal”, because I believe that a good voice coach must know and can demonstrate all vocal techniques. I still keep learning new things no matter how much experience and skills I have. I look forward to getting to know you as a student and can’t wait to start working together on your goal!
