About Me
Hey! I’m Jamie Pro Drum Teacher and founder of Jamie’s Drum School in Central Pennsylvania. I was born in 1982 and started my journey as a drummer at age 3—passed down from my father. I have been blessed to learn from some of the greatest influences in the drumming industry and have had opportunities to attend some of the greatest drumming academies (including Berklee College of Music and The Stanton Moore Drum Academy). Also, I’ve been lucky enough to study under Clyde Lucas (who has played with Ray Charles) and Count Bassie. I have also studied under Jim Payne AKA (The funky drummer) Peter Erskine (drummers hall of fame inductee) and Mike Johnston

After college, I did a few tours and started working on shows. I found out that My greatest joy was meeting new drummers and working with them to help them get better at their craft. so when things settled with the touring I decided to take on a few students. Through teaching my students I found a great passion for teaching and knew that this was something I wanted to do for the rest of my life!
