About Me

Megan grew up in a very musical home and loved music from an early age. She began playing piano at the age of six and violin at the age of seven. She has enjoyed using her musical talent in the Greater Dallas Youth Orchestras, as the lead member of a string quartet, at many performances with her family group, and as an accompanist for other musicians. Megan's favorite thing about music is the ability to connect with and express emotions of all kinds, and her favorite thing about teaching music is helping others to find the joy of musical expression. Megan loves the challenge of finding the way a student learns and connects and patiently walking with them as they discover the joy of music for themselves. What to expect in my Keyboard and Piano Lessons

Beginner - Advanced - Intermediate

I teach traditional piano lessons using a variety of methods depending on the student. I require students to participate in recitals twice a year to increase student’s performance skills and encourage proficiency.

What to expect in my Orchestral Lessons

Beginner - Advanced - Intermediate

I teach violin using the Suzuki method emphasizing the importance of positivity, wholistic development, and parental involvement for children. I require students to participate in recitals twice a year to increase student’s performance skills and encourage proficiency.
