Hi folks! My name is Shawn and I am a professional musician, audio engineer, writer, and music instructor. I've been playing music for twenty years and teaching for over ten years. I am proficient in guitar, bass, drums, songwriting, production/engineering, and composing in many genres. My teaching philosophy is "if you're having fun, you're doing it right!" The best part of teaching for me is watching a student's light bulb go off when they really "get it" and enjoy the success! My students like that I teach many types of music and cater the lesson to what the student wants to learn, not just technique and reading sheet music.
