Andrew began playing guitar at the age of 11. Over the years, he developed his skills further by constantly practicing and studying with private teachers and at college. He gained performance experience in the Harrisonburg/Charlottesville area by playing at such venues as Pale Fire, Brothers Brewery, Three Notch'd, the Garage, Pompeii Lounge, Blue Mountain Brewery, Restless Moons, Moe's, and Champion Grill with acts such as the Clayton Ware Trio and Savvy. Though Andrew can teach many different genres of music, his musical personal favorites are blues, jazz, and funk which had a great influence on his style of playing. Andrew loves music because it's a great communication tool and loves teaching music because he loves to share what he's passionate about.
