About Me

I was born in Houston, TX and I began playing electric guitar when I was 12. My mom provided my first acoustic guitar when I was 15, I played in a church youth group and soon began writing my own songs. I was a member of the jazz band in high school, and attended Berklee College of Music as well as the University of North Texas. In 1989, I started playing in Autumn Reign with Bret Fazio. I was also one of the original members of the rock band, Dirty Cowboys. I played bass and sang backup vocals for the band in 1990. This band wrote the soundtrack for the movie Louisiana Conspiracy, which was one of the five songs on the demo recorded at Rampart Studios under sound engineer Steve Ames (King’s X) and producer Dan Workman (ZZ Top). Lynn Smith, DJ for Houston radio station 101.1 KLOL, managed the band and greatly attributed to its airplay, production and success. Since then, I have played bass and guitar in many churches and various successful bands including Tantrum, April Sound, the Mike Conde Band, City Nights and most recently Superna in 2018. I live and breathe to play music and bring praises to God. I find no other professional endeavors to be more rewarding or gratifying.
