Hello, I'm Ryan! I have been playing guitar for 17 years and teaching for two. I started out taking music lessons learning applied music theory and guitar performance. Since then I have continued my personal study of music through to this day. I have played in a number of bands and genres and have traveled the country playing music in my own group.

I like to allow the student to define their musical goals as I assess their current abilities. This allows me to design and offer a personalized curriculum and draw from my experience to help guide the student down the most efficient and enjoyable path possible toward becoming the musician they hope to be. We will be able to cover topics such as music theory and its application to the guitar, rhythm and lead, chords and melody, improvisation, self-expression, performance practice, song studies and much more.
