Howdy! I’ve been a musician for 12 years and some instruments I can play are the flute, guitar, vihuela, piano, and violin. I love music with every fiber of my soul! It’s the ONLY activity that uses 100% of the brain—isn’t that cool? I really do love all genres of music, but my favorites would have to be classical, rock, grunge, mariachi, opera, and pop.

What to expect in my Orchestral Lessons
Beginner - Advanced - Intermediate
Students should arrive promptly and ready to go with their materials (i.e., instrument, pencil, tuner, warm up/scale book/sheet music). Students should be prepared to play for me (don’t be shy, I too was shy to play for people once upon a time).
Formal Education:
Texas A&M International-studied music performance for 2 years. Arizona State University (current)-forensic psychology
Performing Experience:
I’ve played in many mariachi groups in my hometown over the years both on vihuela and violin. I also currently perform with my local flute choir. I’ve played hand bells at a Methodist church for Sunday service. I’ve also performed with a world renowned mariachi group from Guadalajara, Jalisco in Mexico and have become personal friends with several members.
Experience Teaching:
I’ve been teaching for a little under 2 years. I first started my teaching experience back in 2017 with a mariachi group at one of my hometown high schools. I currently teach private lessons for violin, flute & cello at a local studio.
