Starting to play from the sounds of pots and pans on kitchen floor, I quickly fell in love with percussion at a young age. Graduating to a drum set my uncle left at my house when I was about 9 and quickly learned my first Rock & Roll beat from the kid next door, who was in jazz band at school. After playing around with that I moved with parents up north and started playing in worship bands at local churches and youth groups as the regular drummer. Then after a short 4 week tour as a worship band around central US, I started learning Punk Rock. After going through the normal "bang as hard and as much as you can" phase, I went to the more stylistic and emotional sounds of classic rock and blues with some work in the techy drum & bass groves. Styles ranging from rock, blues, jazz, punk, metal, country, worship, and with some world beats, also training with linear drumming. With conga, and other hand drum experience. I have toured in Texas, and nationally. I have a great deal of studio drumming experience, and even working with world famous producer Gordon Rapheal(The Strokes). My teaching focuses on technique, and style, along with getting to know and love your instrument.
