I have been a drummer since I was 3 years old. I will be a student University of Miami, where I was accepted on a full scholarship, and have graduated from the Dreyfoos School of the Arts. I am a 4 time Allstate winner, Essentially Ellington finalist, I have attended PASIC as a performing artist, and I have played in a metal band am currently in an alternative rock band, and we have an album out. I have taught for 4 years in styles ranging from Jazz, Rock, Latin, and Funk. My strength is teaching diversity and important fundamentals to students, and I am very happy when they succeed. I teach many methods to increase skills but also always tell students to listen to music in the realm of how they want to play so that they can learn from what they want to excel at. I can also teach percussion and snare drum techniques.
