What to expect in my Keyboard and Piano Lessons
Beginner -
I will teach basic piano lessons where I will assign pieces for the student to work on to improve their skills. I will teach warmups, proper posture, scales, music theory, and beginner songs
What to expect in my Vocal Lessons
Beginner - Intermediate - Advanced
I always start with vocal warm ups and provide you with materials to help you practice on your own. Then we will sing through a song or two of your choice and build vocal strength, control over your breathing and voice, confidence in yourself, and learn new techniques! For advanced students we will be using more complicated voice warm up’s and I may assign a song to you I feel will help achieve the sound we are wanting to hear.
Formal Education:
Alabama School of Fine Arts as Vocal Major 5 years, Auburn University Vocal Major 2 years
Private Education:
10 years of instruction from private voice teachers
Performing Experience:
I’ve performed at several local events over the years. I am trained in vocal performance

I taught lessons to all ages in college, then went on to teach preschool for a couple of years.
