About Me

KEN is the founder and CEO of Cornerstone Recording Company in Oklahoma City (1977). CRC is a music recording studio with services including audio & video recording (both in-studio and on-location), mixing, editing, music arranging & producing, studio musicians & vocalists. Ken has produced several thousand records including two “million-sellers”, and is also extensively involved as a session musician/vocalist, arranger, and sound engineer. Since 1977 he has worked with artists and record labels such as Twila Paris, B.J. Thomas, Toby Keith, Al Green, Don Moen, Tim Miner, Dennis Jernigan, Kelly Willard, Mark Hayes, Sharon Daugherty, David Ingles, Kim Boyce, Annie Herring, Reba Rambo Maguire, Mason Williams, Dale Robertson, Vicki Winans, Charlie Hall, Star Search, Reader’s Digest, Integrity Music, Sony, Epic, Arista, Word, Benson, Sparrow, Marantha! Music, Tempo Music Publishing, Warner-Alliance Records, as well as 40+ Schools & Universities, 60 Churches, and numerous radio & television commercials. Ken is a native Oklahoman, with a degree in Vocal and Instrumental Music Education from the University of Central Oklahoma. Trumpet and flute are his major instruments, but he also does session work on bass, guitar, keyboards, percussion, and background vocals. He composes songs, writes jingles and commercial music for radio & television production, arranges & orchestrates music for album productions, does graphic design and photography for CD's/DVD's and websites, is a piano tuner/technician, and likes to fly airplanes. Responsible for curriculum development and instruction, Ken has served as Adjunct Professor at the University of Oklahoma, Oklahoma City University, University of Central Oklahoma, and Southern Nazarene University, teaching courses in sound recording engineering, multimedia technology, and music notation. He has completed training at the Delcom Video University (DVU) and is a member of the Audio Engineering Society (AES), Recording Institute of America (RIA), the American Society of Composers, Authors and Publishers (ASCAP), the National Association of Music Merchants (NAMM), and the Aircraft Owners and Pilots Association (AOPA).

Formal Education:

B.M.E Vocal and Instrumental Music Education from the University of Central Oklahoma. Musikgarten Certification.

Has served as Band & Choir Director, and Chess Club Director/Coach at Oklahoma Christian School in Edmond, Oklahoma and Casady School in Oklahoma City..
