Roly has always loved music from an early age. He began playing guitar at the age of 10 and continued his education by studying classical music at UTPA. His musical influences include Muddy Waters, Bob Dylan, and Randy Rhoads. Roly's favorite thing about music is songwriting and his favorite thing about teaching music is seeing people dive deeper into music. One of his favorite teaching experiences was when he was able to teach his friends to play different instruments to start a small band in college. When taking lessons with Roly you can expect to learn classical exercises and scales or just learn the songs you want. He looks forward to getting to know you as a student and learning about your specific goals, interests, and learning style. Book a lesson now and get connected right away!

What to expect in my Guitar Lessons
I can go over how to read sheet music and proper classical finger placement. These include things like right hand exercises and scales, as well as some music theory. On the other hand, we can learn your favorite songs on acoustic or practice jamming out with blues guitar. Songwriting I believe is one of the most rewarding aspects of learning to play guitar, so I'll always encourage the use and knowledge of chord progressions.
