Hello!, My name is Maddie, and I am currently studying music therapy at Cleveland State University. I have been playing guitar for over seven years and have played in a guitar ensemble, participated in numerous choirs over the years including ones at university level, and am currently taking college level guitar lessons for myself as well. I am currently studying to be a music therapist, soI have experience in both classical and jazz/pop music theory as well as fluency in ssolfège rhythm, and different meters, and ssight-reading Guitar is currently my main instrument, specifically acoustic guitar, but I have also played bass and electric guitar. However, I also have basic knowledge of voice and have also taken university level voice lessons. I also have had experience teaching an after school music club as well as tutoring students K-12. My experience with tutoring and teaching have given me experience with numerous ages of kids as well as how to best teach different ages. As an instructor, I will teach different left and rright-handtechniques such as barre chords, power chords, ffinger pickingetc. I also have experience in playing different styles and genres of music. Through teaching at the afafter schoolsic club and experience performing with voice and guitar, I demonstrate knowledge and a love of playing towards my students!
