About Me

Hi! My name is James, and I’m a drummer and songwriter from Orlando. I’m an active gigging musician and aspiring teacher. I’ve been playing drums and guitar in bands for last few years, and I’m currently playing in my band, Venus Child, in venues all around Florida. I’ve explored, played, and written music for genres such as rock, punk, metal, indie, and Christian. It is my passion to spread the art of music to everyone I come in contact with, and it is my duty as a musician to inspire musicians and create new musicians. I believe that anyone can play and make music, and everyone deserves to play the music they want to play.

What to expect in my Drum Lessons

Beginner - Intermediate - Advanced

Students will get to fully play the drums from day one. From the moment they start, it is my goal to get them to playing their favorite songs. I will have them behind the drum set on day one playing simple rhythms and then working their way up in technicality, technique, and speed.

Performing Experience:

I have multiple years of church band experience, and I’ve played at venues around Orlando like Stardust Video and Coffee, Henao Contemporary Center, and The Haven Lounge. I’ve also traveled around Florida to play in cities like Tampa, FL, and Miami, FL.
