I was taught how to play the flute and piccolo when I was 10 years old, in the 6th grade, at Pointe South Middle School in Clayton County, Georgia. I was taught to play the oboe and piano when I was at Riverdale High School. I had to audition for the high school marching band performance arts program. I have also auditioned for Clark Atlanta University's marching band performance arts program. I was born in Atlanta, Georgia.
