About Me

Hi, my name is Cheyenne, I am a substitute from Dundee, FL. I have been a student of music for over 10 years. My musical influences include my band director from high school and I also enjoy nail art. My teaching style can best be described as hybrid. My teaching philosophy can best be described by saying that I connect and form professional relationships with students and parents. In my lessons, you can expect to learn guitar/keyboard or any musical instrument if asked. I like to tell my students to go at their own pace. My favorite thing about teaching is when a student becomes inspired, a light bulb turns on when they understand the subject. My favorite performance was when I was in the Symphony Band at Florida Southern; every performance was my favorite. My students love that I can connect with them over something other than their instruments. I primarily teach woodwind instruments, but I can also teach Guitar and keyboard/piano.
