Hi, my name is Anthony and I'm a guitar player/teacher from Henderson, NV. I have been a student of music for 31 years. I have a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Music Performance from Lander University in South Carolina, class of 1997. My musical influences include guitar players like Steve Vai, Yngwie Malmsteen, and Kerry King. Over the years, I've played lead guitar in Rock bands, Christian Rock bands, and even Southern Rock bands. In case you haven't already guessed it, my favorite music is 80's heavy metal! My teaching style can best be described as personable and individual to the student's needs. My teaching philosophy can best be described by saying that I believe in inclusive teaching practices where every person is valued! I'm also a licensed Special Education Teacher in a local elementary school, so students with special needs are always welcome in my guitar lessons. In lessons, you can expect to learn music reading, tablature, scales major, minor, harmonic, pentatonic, chords, arpeggios, soloing, harmony, acoustic style, electric style playing, and songs that YOU want to play.
