Hi, my name is Alyssa, and I am a music education student at Florida International University. I have been a student of music since I was a child. My teaching philosophy can best be described by saying that I believe music is both a process and a product, and I also think music serves non-musical outcomes and is something amazing that should be incorporated in people's lives. In my lessons, you can expect to learn about vocal technique and healthy singing. I like to tell my students "everybody can sing, if you don't think so, it's because you haven't learned yet, but it is my job to give you the tools to learn how to."
