Hi there! I'm LaShella, and I'm delighted to welcome you to Ignite Vocal Studio® in Fort Worth, TX. As a certified voice teacher with over 10 years of experience in the music industry, and a certified Singers Empowerment Coach, my lifelong love affair with music began as a child, setting me on a path that led to formal studies in digital music production and hands-on experience using industry-standard software to create and shape sound. My journey has been diverse, including years teaching music to young children, where I developed a keen understanding of foundational learning. I also spent time as a recording artist, gaining firsthand experience on stage and in the studio, which gave me unique insights into the demands and joys of performing. While I loved creating music, I discovered my true calling was guiding others. This realization inspired me to delve deep into vocal pedagogy, training with a leading voice teacher in New York. This intensive study equipped me with a comprehensive understanding of vocal technique, the science behind the voice, and the psychology of a singer. In 2022, I founded Ignite Vocal Studio® to share this knowledge and passion with you.

Beginner - Intermediate - Advanced
Students can expect to receive personalized vocal exercises based on their individual needs to learn exceptional and healthy vocal techniques that don’t damage the voice. They’ll learn in a fun and encouraging environment, and lessons can be modified for the students comfort without taking away from the quality of the exercises. There’ll also be plenty of opportunities to celebrate the students achievements and milestones reached!
Formal Education:
My journey led me to complete my formal voice teaching certification in New York. My study was extensive, covering everything from the deep science of vocal pedagogy to the nuances of singers' psychology. Through hands-on lesson observations, I honed the skill of designing vocal exercises specifically to unlock and nurture each student's unique, authentic voice
Performing Experience:
I bring real-world performing experience, having worked as a former local gospel recording artist. This firsthand experience gives me a deep understanding of what it's truly like to prepare for performances, manage the studio environment, and connect with an audience.

Finding your voice when listening to sing can be intimidating because you want to be your best. It can cause you to be shy and egged make you feel embarrassed especially if you hit the wrong note. However, when you work with LaShella, she makes you feel so comfortable. She encourages you and inspires you to be your best! In addition to that, she educates you on exactly what's happening as you sing so that you will have the knowledge and tools to sing your very best. Great lessons!

LaShella was an amazing teacher in the time I had her. She paid attention to my needs and focused on areas I thought I needed help in. She provided support and check-ins along with recordings of our lessons to help me go back and listen and improve. She's kind and such a loving person. She paid attention when I was telling her about myself and my goals and continued to pushed me and teach me. I have never had a teacher as helpful as her even from states away. She hyped me up when I would play for her and sing. She taught me cool tricks to reach my lower and higher registers and they've become a part of my routine now.
