I am excited to pass down my 18 years of vocal knowledge to those interested and in need of vocal training. When we sing, we are training our ears to learn, recognize and recite the notes necessary for the song at hand. I began singing in the first grade at Croissant park elementary in their choral program. I went on to join the jazz band at new river middle where I sang lead, played alto saxophone and contra-bass clarinet. While in middle school I joined the Fort Lauderdale, first church of the Nazarene choir, where I sang and played rhythm on guitar, to later go on as one of their lead singers. I played and sang for the church until I graduated high school. When I got to college I sang alto for Florida A&M's concert choir. Now I am an independent recording artist.

What to expect in my Vocal Lessons
- - Advanced
1. To focus on where you're going and not where you're at. Yes it's important to be realistic with oneself especially when training. However, having faith and believing in yourself will get you farther. 2. To leave my lessons with homework. Progress can be seen in a day or a month, but no progress will be seen if you're not challenging yourself to practice outside of the lesson. 3. My lessons are detail oriented. Be prepared to work on tone, inflection, pitch recognition, breathing, the list goes on. Singing is like working a machine, different parts of your body are moving and being used to create this beautiful sound. 4. I will go at your own pace. Unless there is a deadline at hand, I see no need in rushing or stressing to get something down. In the case that something is taking long to be understood or performed correctly, I will find creative/new ways to instruct you.
Formal Education:
My most recent education is from Florida A&M Universities college of music where I studied and traveled with the concert choir. We specialized in operatic singing.
