Hi, I’m Charlie. I began my musical studies taking drum lessons from jazz drummer Larry Marshall at resurrection drums. When I was 15 I joined Dr Michael M. Krop Sr. High school jazz band on the upright bass and we competed in the Duke Ellington high school jazz band competition earning an A score. In 2018 I started my associates degree in jazz performance at Miami Dade College under the director Mike Di’lido. 2020 I started my bachelors degree in jazz performance at the university of Miami in the bass studios of Don Coffman and Brian Powell, graduating in 2023. Today I teach at Miami Music project and out of my home.
