Kevin O.

I picked up my first guitar when I was 10 years old and was immediately hooked. I spent my afternoons and weekends practicing and teaching myself how to play. In high school, I studied guitar and joined my first band, Phineas Gage, in Denver, CO. From there I pursued music and recording arts at University of Colorado, Denver. I graduated in 2006 with a BS, in music. During this time I was also active in the Denver music scene playing venues with multiple bands. My latest project is playing and writing music with the Simple Parade. (Check out the Youtube link) I am also collaborating on a project with another musician writing, recording, and publishing songs. For the past 22 years I have been teaching music with an emphasis on guitar at both music schools, and private schools. I enjoy seeing others grow their own passion for music and helping them be able to express themselves in this art.
