Hi, my name is Zoe, and I am a recent graduate from the Frost School of Music at the University of Miami. I have been singing and playing piano for over eight years, and received a degree in music therapy. My musical influences include R&B and soul as well as alternative pop. My teaching philosophy can best be described by saying that I will prepare anyone with the tools needed to accomplish their musical goal in a contemporary setting. In my lessons, you can expect to learn music theory, songwriting techniques, how to play and sing your favorite tunes, as well as stage presence. I like to tell my students that emotion and passion is the key to successful music making! My favorite thing about teaching is seeing the growth of my students over time. My favorite performance was being able to sing my original music at my senior recital this past April. I primarily teach voice and piano, but I can also teach songwriting.
