I began singing in rock band at the age of 15, unknown to my mother. I also sang in church for 8 years and then toured as a contemporary Christian artist. When that group disbanded I went into country music because my voice lends itself to that genre. I was a back-up singer for another 8 years hired contractor and work with many big country stars out of Baird Studio in Nashville. When I had my first son I gave up the travel. My children are grown and I often have people ask me why I am not a professional when they hear me sing. We didn't have the "Voice" back then or perhaps I would have hit the charts. The truth is traveling in a bus from city to city list its luster for me. My eldest son still performs playing bass and singing, and we often still collaborate. I would love to help you reach that pinnacle you are trying to achieve. I will tell you it is hard work and dedication to train your voice even with a natural talent.,but yes, It was s great deal of fun!
