Hi, my name is lilliean. I have been a student of music for just over 12 years. My musical influences include choral music folk music, and anything that can be learned on the guitar, and I also enjoy learning as I teach. My teaching style can best be described as hands on. My teaching philosophy can best be described by saying that I teach as I learn. In my lessons, you can expect to learn how to read sheet music, how to play guitar, and hopefully a little more about yourself in the process. I like to tell my students that if you are trying your hardest, it is okay to make mistakes, everything is a process and perfect practice makes perfect. My favorite thing about teaching is getting to know how my students learn. My favorite performance was when I was in high school choir and we were singing for ccmea and we had about an hour to learn our part!
