Hi, my name is Stevan-I am a guitarist from Seattle Washington. I have been a student of music for 15 years. My musical influences include Jimi Hendrix, Stevie Wonder, Michael Jackson, Stevie Ray Vaughn, John Mayer and I also enjoy Tupac. My teaching style can best be described as patient and determined. In my lessons, you can expect to learn to play songs that you have always wanted to learn to play while learning how to understand the fretboard. I like to tell my students guitar playing is supposed to be fun. I understand at times learning can be frustrating, and can make you want to give up, but we have to remember that we’re all students of guitar, and it’s a lifetime of learning! My favorite thing about teaching is helping students realize that anything they want to learn is possible with practice and discipline. My favorite performance was Jimi Hendrix Live at Monterey. My students love that I have patience and can adapt my teaching style to benefit each student individually. My approach as a teacher is to set goals for what a student wants to learn and break each goal down into manageable tasks for comprehension. Thanks for taking a look at my profile.
