Thomas began playing guitar at the age of 10. Over the years, he developed his skills further by taking lessons, hosting jams, and trying new instruments. He gained performance experience in the Baton Rouge area by playing at such venues as Mid City Ballroom, 524 Onyx Theater, Phil Brady's and with acts such as Meadowhead. Though Thomas can teach many different genres of music, his musical personal favorites are country, blues, rock, and indie, which had great influence on his style of playing. Thomas loves music because music is a universal language, and a skill to carry through life, and loves teaching music because it makes not only Thomas a better musician, but because Thomas loves sharing his passion with others, and fostering a love for music in them.
