Lance began playing drums at the age of 3. Over the years, he developed his skills further by practicing and playing with others. His first professional music taste came playing at churches. Then moved onto playing at a local theme park, Kings Dominion. And now he travels the country playing with an artist named "Benet". Though Lance can teach many different genres of music, his musical personal favorites are funk, and rock, which had great influence on his style of playing.
