About Me
Hi, my name is Serra and I am a Vocalist and lifelong Coloradan. I have been a student of music for 7 years and am a current Music Major at UCCS. My musical influences include Ella Fitzgerald and various folk artists and I also enjoy pop and rock and roll. My teaching style can best be described as adaptive and evolving. My teaching philosophy can best be described by saying that I want my students to not only find their voice and what works for them but also comfort in the music they create. In my lessons, you can expect to learn vocal basics, various musical styles, and reading sheet music. I like to tell my students anyone can sing with enough training and effort.
