Mike has always loved music from an early age. He began playing piano at the age of 3, guitar at the age of 7 and continued his education by graduating from Rowan University with a bachelor of science in Music Technology. His musical influences include rock, jazz, funk, soul, and heavy metal. Mike's favorite thing about music is being expressive and creative, and his favorite thing about teaching music is seeing the look on my student's face when they learn something new. One of his favorite teaching experiences was a student who was very reluctant to trying new things finally overcame a challenge.
