Hi, my name is Sean, and I am a guitar/bass teacher from Williamsburg, VA. I have been a student of music for twenty years. My musical influences include Eric Johnson, Yes, and I also enjoy Dream Theater. My teaching style can best be described as thoughtful and logical. As such, my teaching philosophy can best be described by saying that I will always ask your input for healthy playing of the instrument. In my lessons, you can also expect to learn theory. My favorite thing about teaching is the collaboration between student and teacher. My favorite performance was Dream Theater with Iron Maiden. My students love that I'm often light-hearted. I primarily teach rock music, but I can also teach classical. My approach as a teacher is to find the simplest, most logical way to go about instrument technique.
