He has performed with Drumline Live, Joey Gilmore, Memphis Lightning, Cannonball Red and the Head Hunters, and on Travis Scotts 2025 track "4*4" as part of an elite drumline ensemble. Military Accolades & The 77th United States Army Band is also a U.S. Army veteran, having served as a percussionist in the 77th United States Army Band. During his time in the military, he performed at high-profile national events and for distinguished political figures. JD has performed in all of the 50 US States, Canada, Mexico, Russia, Japan, Fiji, New Caledonia, Samoa, and Australia. JD is currently the featured Drumset artist for the international theatrical production DRUMline Live, National Blues Artist Cannonball Red and the Headhunters and he is a studio drummer and freelance drummer in the Atlanta area.

Experience Teaching:

JD has taught marching and concert percussion at several schools across the nation, JD has also taught at Guitar Center, Sam Ash, and School of Rock and is a certified drum set instructor with all three franchises.
