Hi, my name is Breanna and I am a Drummer/ vocalist from basically everywhere. I have been a student of music for about 7 years. My musical influences include Neil Purt, John Bonham, Pink, Joan Jett, and Jinger. I also enjoy my alternative rock, jazz, heavy metal, punk rock... honestly you want to play it I can teach it. My teaching style can best be described as Fun, focused, structured and different for each student. My teaching philosophy can best be described by saying that I learn and improve with my students. In my lessons, you can expect to learn Music theory, notes and rhythm, breath control, stick control, warm up stretches, and vocal exercises. I like to tell my students it's okay to not be exact, allow the freedom of your own creative genius to shine. My favorite thing about teaching is how my students eyes spark when they find that enjoyment in music, I Iove helping people find their passions for music! My favorite performance was with my first ever student who was 8 yrs old and I taught him to play believer by imagine dragons, he did so amazing I had to have him perform for his dad. My students love that I am fun, and easy to talk and ask questions to. I primarily teach Drums, but I can also teach Vocals. My approach as a teacher is to start with the fundamentals and break it down before we ever start on the drum kit or singing, I teach a little bit of the history behind drumming and singing and get them behind the idea of learning new things!
