About Me

Hi, my name is Justin, and I am a Drummer from Merryville. I have been a student of music for 8 years. My musical influences include Pink Floyd, System of a Down, FFDP, ect and I also enjoy country and electronic. My teaching style can best be described as simple. My teaching philosophy can best be described by saying that I love to practice. In my lessons, you can expect to learn basic, or more advanced rudiments and how to read music. I like to tell my students to work hard and to never take a mess-upas a bad thing. My favorite thing about teaching is watching my students learn about the thing I'm passionate about. My favorite performance was Tower of Power, Digging on James Brown. MMystudents love that I am always in a happy mood. I primarily teach High School Marching band, but I can also teach ddrum setor orchestra. My approach as a teacher is to keep trying until we succeed at what we need.
