About Me

Hi, my name is Luke! I am a lover of music from Montgomery County, Maryland. I have been writing, composing, and learning music since the age of 5, and I even learned how to read through music! I’ve played piano since the age of 7, picked up the drums recently, and I’m now starting to learn guitar. I have perfect pitch and a relative understanding of music theory. My teaching style can best be described as encouraging, I find that a lot of beginners tend to have a lack of confidence when first learning to sing or play an instrument, and I like to encourage everyone to just go for it! I believe everyone should be able to enjoy music whether they’re playing or listening. I love all types of music but some of my favorite genres are jazz, blues, and R&B.
