I've been playing for the better part of 15 years . Due to living in a small West Texas town for my entire life, learning how to play an instrument wasn't something anyone around could teach me, The ways I learned how to play were rather simple: Practice everyday and learn songs.
After I graduated High school, I moved to Odessa, Texas for 2 years where I learned how to perform in front of others. In addition to this, I had to learn how to work with and learn from others I've never met, often on the spot.
Finally, I moved to Arlington, Tx for another 2 years where I was further able to hone my skills as a musician.
Erik A. Wa has over 6 years of music experience in the Spring Branch area.
Erik A. Wa is proficient in and teaches Guitar Lessons, Bass Guitar Lessons .Formal Education:
BA in Criminology/Criminal Justice from UT Arlington and an AA in General Studies at Odessa College.
Performing Experience:
I've been playing non-stop. I started playing live in Odessa, Texas at a country music store every Tuesday for about 2 years. After that, I moved to Arlington, Texas and began taking my equipment all over the place and playing live myself. I did this for about 2 years as well.
