I have been playing guitar since about age 15. I have taken numerous lessons. I have an organized approach that starts with a student's favorite song, so the student is making music after the first lesson. I tailor my teaching to what works best for each student. To make progress, it is important the student practices at least 30 minutes 6 days a week. 60 minutes of practice (even if broken up by a rest period) is even better.

Beginner - Intermediate
Students should expect lessons tailored to their style of learning. They will be able to play a simple song at the end of a 1-hour lesson. Music theory will be taught, depending on the student's interest in theory. A friendly environment will be maintained all the time.
