Eric began playing drums and piano at the age of 7. Over the years, he developed his skills further by studying percussion performance and jazz studies at the University of Nebraska Lincoln. He gained performance experience in the rhythm section area by playing at such venues as PASIC19’, JEN2021, casinos, orchestral halls, jazz clubs, and with acts such as Stefan Harris, percussion collective, Johnathan Scales Orchestra, Lincoln Symphony Orchestra, Sammy Kershaw and many more.! Though Eric can teach many different genres of music, his musical personal favorites are hip-hop, jazz, and R&B which had a great influence on his style of playing. Eric loves music because that is his truest way of expressing himself and loves teaching music because he loves to see others find their voice through music.
