About Me

My name is Jamall and my passion for music started at an early age. More specifically, I picked up my first pair of drumsticks at age 3 and have not put them down since. I started playing for a local church at age 12 and began playing consistently for my church at age 16. This is when I decided to make music my career. I have played for various gospel recording artists in addition to recording live drum sessions in the studio.

I received my formal education from Ramapo College of New Jersey in 2008, where I majored in Music Production. In addition to playing and teaching the drums, I also produce various types of music as well as mixing and mastering recording sessions.

I have experience in many different drum styles and I am capable of giving lessons to a wide variety of students. Lessons with me promise to be fun and educational and have proven to assist with channeling the energy of hyperactive children into the music. I am looking forward to working with you!

Performing Experience:

Lead Drummer for True Servant Worship and Praise Church for a total of 10 years. This position includes playing for all services, every Thursday and Sunday, as well as annual concerts and special events.

Experience Teaching:

Experience providing drum lessons for children ages 4-12 and Young Adults for a total of 3 years. Teaching includes all types of music styles and genres.
