I do not possess a teaching certificate per se, but I took private piano lessons and learned the classics and jazz. Favorite composer was George Gershwin. I attended USC in Columbia I was a music education major. Through high school I took piano was in the high school band and made honors all-state chorus my junior and senior years. I also was choir director for QUMC for 9 years. Played piano offertories each Sunday. I also performed in the FMU community band in Florence for 5 years. Played tuba and trombone. I have written a number of songs I’m waiting to have published
