I was a musician/performer on the Las Vegas strip for 20 years when the unexpected events of 2020 led to many significant changes for me personally and professionally. I eventually learned to embrace these changes and became an art and music instructional aide at a local middle school for two years. Although I do miss performing, my time spent in the classroom has allowed me to discover that I also have a passion for teaching. I'm looking to take this newfound passion and use it to share the many years of knowledge and experience I have acquired with my students.

What to expect in my Record Engineer Produce
Beginner - Intermediate
Beginner: Lessons will include the basics of the DAW (digital audio workstation), a brief history of hip-hop and electronic music, and the basics of programming, drum machines, and samples. Intermediate: Lessons will include an introduction to sample manipulation, effects, song arrangement, and how to apply a balanced mix to the song.
What to expect in my Drum Lessons
Beginner - Intermediate
Beginner: Lessons will include an introduction to musical structure, drum/percussion overview including basic drum kit components as well as rudimentary playing techniques. Intermediate: Lessons will include exercises to improve student's speed and precision as well as an introduction to basic drum patterns that can easily be translated to a drum kit.

Performing Experience:
I have been performing (primarily) in Las Vegas in numerous lounges and nightclubs as an improvisational drummer/percussionist for over 20 years. I have also been invited to perform in L.A., Dallas, San Fransisco, Tucson, New York, Seattle, and the island of Koh Phangan (Thailand).
