Kaetlyn began playing violin at the age of six, and cello at the age of nine. Over the years, she developed her skills further by getting involved in orchestra all the way through school and post-high school. Kaetlyn's favorite thing about teaching music is the ability to watch students improve and start to understand new concepts and skills. One of her favorite teaching experiences was the first time her orchestra under her direction performed at their concert. Watching her beginner students perform with each other was an otherworldly experience for her.
